Protein extracts (10 μg) from different organs (as indicated) were subjected to 2D gel electrophoresis, followed by western analysis using GS antibodies. The identity of the GS1 and GS2 polypeptides is based on their Mr. The GS1 polypeptides previously identified as the β- and the γ-polypeptides (GSβ, GSγ) and their oxidized forms (*) are indicated.
