Note that the Fmax level of P1-15 in the absence of the herbicide is lower than in its presence, indicating residual electron transfer. B, Total soluble proteins (15 μg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE (15% polyacrylamide). After transfer to membranes, protein blots were reacted sequentially with antisera directed against cyt f, the Rieske protein, and PC as described in “Materials and Methods.” Antibodies that recognized the plastidic GrpE homolog of Chlamydomonas (CGE1) served as a loading control.
