The values depict mRNA abundance relative to the mean of mRNA abundance of actin genes ACT2 (EST accession number 179M16T7) and ACT8 (accession number 179P1T7), which were shown to be constitutively expressed by RNA gel blots.
↑, induction two- to fourfold; ⇑, induction fivefold and above. Similar results have been seen using mRNA from three independent experiments.
