Phosphorylation of the CSB protein in vitro. (A) Recombinant CSB wt protein was incubated with 50 U of purified CKII in the presence of [γ-32P]ATP for 0, 10 or 20 min. CSB phosphorylation was detected by SDS–PAGE, exposure on screen and the use of a Molecular Imager. Coomassie stain of the same gel indicates equal loading.
