Effects of the expression of a dominant negative mutant of SHP-2 on the HGF/SF-induced cell scattering and formation of stress fibers in MDCK cells. Wild-type MDCK cells (WT) (Aa–Ae) and MDCK-SHP-2-C/S cells (SHP-2-C/S) (Ba–Be) were cultured with 10 ng/ml HGF/SF for the indicated periods. These cells were stained with rhodamine-conjugated phalloidin and then analyzed by confocal microscopy at the basal level. The results shown are representative of three independent experiments.
