A-T (AT5BIVA) cells harboring an integrated copy of the pLrec recombination vector (cell clone 5L13) were stably transfected with the TEL1rep, deltaTELrep, or empty pRep5 expression vectors and were tested for intrachromosomal recombination events that lead to reconstitution of the lacZ reporter gene as described in the MATERIALS AND METHODS section.
