Multivariable Adjusted OR* 95% CI
Diagnostic procedure
 Echocardiography 1.03 0.91 to 1.17
 Exercise tolerance testing 0.65 0.55 to 0.76
 Cardiac catheterization 0.72 0.62 to 0.83

 PCI 0.94 0.78 to 1.12
 CABG 0.60 0.44 to 0.83

All analyses compare procedure utilization rates in women relative to men. The regression analyses controlled for differences in age (as a continuous variable), medical history, AMI order, AMI type, AMI location, development of acute clinical complications, length of stay, and in-hospital survival.

PCI, percutaneous coronary interventions; CABG, coronary artery bypass grafting.
