(A) Untransfected PC12-N21 and pcHuD-transfected cells were grown for 24 h in the presence or absence of NGF, and the total RNA was analyzed by Northern blots as described in Figure 2. (B) Western blot analysis of GAP-43 and HuD proteins in the same control and pcHuD-transfected cells. (C) PC12-N21 and pcHuD-transfected cells were grown in culture for 96 h in the absence of NGF. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and photographed at 400X magnification.
