PhyA-Dependent Gene Expression of Three Light-Inducible Genes: CAB, CHS, and FNR.

The seedlings were grown on Murashige and Skoog (1962) medium containing 2% sucrose for 4 days in darkness and then transferred to FR light or R light or kept in darkness (D) for an additional 24 hr before extraction of total RNA. Ten micrograms of total RNA was loaded and normalized by 18S rRNA probe. Signals were quantified with a PhosphoImager (Fuji, FLA2000). The values were from two independent experimental sets.
