Expression of human septins in human brain tumor cell lines and primary human fibroblasts. There were no visible differences between the expression of septins among the different cell lines, except SEPT3. SEPT3 was not expressed in astrocytoma cell lines and primary human fibroblasts (F0068), but was expressed by all medulloblastoma and supratentorial PNET cell lines. At least four isoforms of SEPT9 were observed in most of the cell lines.
