Reconstitution of antigen-stimulated degranulation in B6A4C1 cells by activated Cdc42 and Rac. Release of β-hexosaminidase was measured in IgE-sensitized, uninfected B6A4C1 cells or B6A4C1 cells infected for 6 h with 20 pfu/cell of vaccinia virus vector only (V) or vaccinia virus containing Cdc42^V12, Cdc42 wild-type, or Rac^V12, all in the presence or absence of 100 ng/ml DNP-BSA as in Figure 1. Error bars indicate the range of duplicate samples in a single experiment that is representative of results from three independent experiments for each construct.
