Fission yeast Int6 is localized in the cytoplasm. Fission yeast cells expressing C-terminally GFP-tagged Int6 were grown on YEAU plates along with wild-type cells. Cells were stained with DAPI and were observed under CCD camera either in GFP channel or in DAPI channel. The inset shows the background fluorescence in GFP channel with the wild-type control.
