Effect of endotoxin on the survival of wild-type and TAFI-deficient mice. Mice were injected intraperitoneally with endotoxin (either 30 mg/kg or 40 mg/kg body weight) dissolved in saline. The mice were observed daily for signs of endotoxemia, and survival time was recorded.
