Cytokine production by bone marrow macrophages. Mononuclear bone marrow cells were cultured for 10 days with 10 ng/ml IL-3 and GM-CSF to induce macrophage differentiation. Macrophages (10⁶) in 1 ml media were incubated for 24 hours either with or without 20 μg/ml LPS, and conditioned media were analyzed by ELISA. The results represent the mean ± SD of three experiments performed on triplicate wells using cells from three KO and three WT mice.
