Maximum hot spot power Phs as a function of inductance volume Vind. The maximum hot spot power for a given inductance volume is calculated using equation 1 and 2b under worst case conditions (Q = 5, const = 4 mW/cm3). It is a linear relation in log-log presentation. Inductance volumes below 0.4 cm3 are definitely safe.
