Results are expressed as mean ± SD for each group. P < .05 was chosen to be the threshold of statistical significance for ANOVA and LSD post hoc test. SDNN: standard deviation of all sinus rhythm RR intervals ms, RMS SD: the square root of the mean of the sum of the squares of differences between adjacent NN intervals, NGR: normal glucose regulation, IFG: impaired fasting glycemia, IGT: impaired glucose tolerance, DM: type 2 diabetes.
