Note that the LBA53 colony on rich medium failed to conidiate. The eight revertants restored conidiation at different degrees. On minimal medium, all mutants demonstrated a poor conidiation phenotype. The smo101, smo137, smo152, smo164, and smo306 mutants grew very poorly.
