8-Cl-Ado-induced apoptosis way. A549 and H1299 cells were unexposed (control) or exposed to 8-Cl-Ado (2 µM) for 24, 48, 72, or 96 hours. After harvest, cell extracts were prepared, and the activation of caspase-3 and the cleavage of PARP were examined by Western blotting as described in Materials and Methods section.
