Autaptic inhibition induced by brief tetani is still present at elevated temperatures. The same protocol (A) as used in Fig. 2 was applied during experiments at elevated temperatures (34°–36° C). A selective increase in the test response is apparent in the presence of MCPG (thin line, B), comparable to the effect at room temperature. (C) The fEPSP amplitude for one experiment is plotted.
