Cultured cells were incubated with either 2.5 mM D-[U-¹⁴C]glucose and various concentrations of unlabeled l-lactate (A) or 2 mM l-[U-¹⁴C]lactate and various concentrations of unlabeled D-glucose (B). Each point and associated error bar represent mean ± SEM of four experiments, in each of which value were determined in quadruplicate.
