In vitro gene expression was carried out in HeLa cells with pLuc DNA released from PLG/CTAB formulation and unformulated DNA at day 1. The luciferase values have been normalized to total protein content. Mean ± SE of triplicate readings are represented. In vivo gene expression of luciferase enzyme was performed at days 1 and 14 with either the PLG/CTAB formulation or unformulated pLuc DNA.
