Open time histograms were fitted with a sum of two exponentials. τ1 and τ2 are the fast and slow time constants. 

f1 and f2 are the fraction of open time that are contributed by openings corresponding to τ1 and τ2 respectively. 

Data are means ± standard error obtained from 6–11 patches. Underlining indicates statistically significant differences from values for the wild type, with P < 0.05.
