Gal4-HDRP represses transcription in the presence of TSA. Gal4-TK-CAT was transfected into 293T cells with pCMV-Gal4 (1–147) (100 ng), pGal4-HDAC1 (100 ng), or pGal4-HDRP (20 ng). TSA (100 ng/ml) treatment was started 12 hours later, and CAT enzyme assays were performed 30 hours after the addition of TSA. Each transfection was performed in duplicate.
