Immunoblot analysis of PAP expression in PSY and mak8-1 yeast cells. PSY and mak8-1 cells were induced to transcribe wtPAP and PAPx in SD-Leu 2% galactose medium for 4 h. Total cellular protein (10 μg) was separated by 12% SDS-PAGE, transferred to nitrocellulose, and probed with PAP-specific polyclonal antibody (1:5000). Cells expressing no PAP (vector control) were used as a negative control for PAP expression. Purified PAP (100 ng) was used as a standard.
