RNA substrates were created with regions of sequence around the editing site NTrpoB C473 to study template requirements of editing in vivo. (A) The sequence 31 nt 5′ to 60 nt 3′ around the editing site at position 473 from the initiation codon of Nicotiana tobacum, NTrpoB, was aligned with Pinus thunbergii PTrpoB and Zea mays ZMrpoB sequences.
