Mean scores (+95% CI) show a significant shift from the mention of mainly coastal sites by old fishers to more offshore sites amongst the young generation (Kruskal–Wallis test, χ22=12.0, p=0.002). In total, old fishers listed 95 sites as depleted by fishing, middle-aged fishers 72 sites and young fishers 40 sites.
