Dot blot peroxidase-like activity Five microgram of each protein (HRP, bovine Hb, VHb6H, ZVHb and ZZVHb) was dotted on nitrocellulose membrane and allowed to dry at 4°C. The membrane was then soaked in 0.1 mM Tris, pH 8.0 containing 1% dimethyl sulfoxide and 2 mM 1,8-diaminonaphthalene (DAN). A chimeric H6GFPZ was applied as a negative control (data not shown). H₂O₂ was added to a final concentration of 10 mM.
