Labeling of wild-type (solid circles) and MDR (open circles) parasites was measured as described in Materials and Methods, and the [¹⁴C]miltefosine concentration, expressed in counts per minute per microgram of protein, was monitored at different times. All values represent the means ± the standard errors of two independent experiments, each of which was performed in duplicate. (B) Time-dependent [¹⁴C]miltefosine efflux.
