(a) Inhibition by a sheep anti-murine TNFα serum (50 μl paw⁻¹) of the hyperalgesic effects of BK (500 ng), kallidin (500 ng), DABK (500 ng) and murine TNFα (2.5 pg). Anti-murine TNFα serum (hatched columns) or pre-immune control serum (open columns) was injected into paws to be injected with one of the four hyperalgesic agents, 30 min before the hyperalgesic agent. (b) Effect of DALBK (2.0 μg paw⁻¹) on the hyperalgesic responses to TNFα (2.5 pg), IL-8 (0.1 ng) and PGE₂ (100 ng).
