(B) Somatostatin-14-stimulated cyclic AMP accumulation following PTx pre-treatment (100 ng ml⁻¹, 18 h) in the presence of 100 nM, 300 nM, 1 μM and 3 μM BIM-23056. CHOsst₅ cells were pre-incubated with the indicated concentrations of BIM-23056 for 15 min and then co-incubated with somatostatin-14 in the presence of 10 μM forskolin for 10 min. Data are expressed as a percentage of the 10 μM somatostatin-14 response and are the means±s.e.mean of 5–6 separate experiments performed in triplicate.
