Testes were dissected from the achi1, sa1, Taf12LKG00946(rye), and mod07570 mutants and from the wild type, and transcripts were quantitated by real-time RT-PCR. The amounts of transcripts in mutants relative to the wild type are shown; the gene Rp49 was used as the cDNA template loading reference. Transcripts of the six spermatid-differentiation genes most severely affected in the mod07570mutant are in boldface type.
