PipB2 triggers kinesin accumulation onto the SCV independent of other TTSS-2 effectors. HeLa cells were infected with GFP-expressing sifA⁻/pipB2⁻ or sifA⁻/ssaV⁻ strains (green) and either untreated (control cells) or transiently transfected at 2 h after invasion with a plasmid encoding HA.PipB2.
