The observed θw and θΠ were obtained by Watterson's θw = K/an and Tajima's θΠ = ∑Πij/(n(n − 1)/2), respectively. The expected θw and θΠ were obtained from θw = K/an, where K is the expected variant sites in each class, and θΠ = θ∑(ni)/(n(n − 1)/2), respectively.
