Alternative splicing of FAK exons 13, 14 and 16 in human brain. (A). Analysis of FAK variants by RT-PCR with flanking primers. The position of molecular markers 296 bp and 380 bp correspond to the size of the expected PCR products for FAKex:15, and FAKex:13,15 respectively. The expression of alternatively spliced FAK transcript was detected in human fetal (B) and adult brain (C) by RT-PCR as described in Fig. 6A. The exons included in each PCR products reflecting the expression of the different FAK variants are indicated.
