Influence of cyclosporin A (CsA, 1.0 μM), FK506 (1.0 μM) of NMMA (300 μM) on nitrite accumulation (nmol per 10⁵ cells per 24 h) in J774 cells using various incubation regimes, as indicated by the bars in the lower panel. J774 cells were exposed to IFNγ (100 u ml⁻¹) in the presence or absence of the indicated drugs for 12 h. Cells were washed at least three times with fresh culture medium and incubated for a further 24 h in the presence or absence of the drugs.
