(a) Caco-2 cells (passages 32 to 39) were used 10 days after confluence and treated for the indicated time with cytomix. iNOS mRNA expression was assessed by Northern blot after standard RNA extraction. The upper panel is the Northern blot and the lower panel is the ethidium bromide staining of 28S and 18S RNA bands indicating equal loading of the lanes. This is a representative of three experiments.
