Effects of phorbol esters on the NMDA-evoked [3H]-NA release from hippocampal synaptosomes. Superfusion was carried out with Mg2+-free medium. Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) or phorbol 12,13-didecanoate (PDD) was added concomitantly with NMDA. Results are expressed as per cent increase over basal release.
