Time-dependent recruitment of neutrophils into the air pouch in response to injection of 0.1 μg ml⁻¹ of TNF-α. One ml of tumour necrosis factor-α was injected into the pouches and after different time-points the exudate fluid was collected and the number of neutrophils was determined using a haemocytometer.
