Production of MIP-2 in air pouch exudates in response TNF-α (0.1 μg ml⁻¹). One group of mice were pretreated with i.p. dexamethasone (10 mg kg⁻¹) 2 h before administration of TNF-α. One ml of TNF-α was injected into the pouches and after different time-points the exudate fluid was collected and the levels of MIP-2 protein were determined using a specific ELISA. Data are mean±s.e.mean and n=6–9.
