Arthritic indices of control, adjuvant control, BAY 12-9566-treated and Indomethacin-treated rats. The arthritic index in rats with adjuvant arthritis was significantly lowered to about 50% on day 22 by BAY 12-9566 (50 mg kg−1 d−1) treatment, compared with that in adjuvant controls.
