Nitration and inactivation of myofibrillar creatine kinase activity during DOX cardiotoxicity. (A) Left ventricular myofibrillar isolates were assessed for CK activity 5 days after treatment with DOX or vehicle control. (B) Myofibrillar isolates were probed for M-CK content and extent of protein nitration. Upper panels show representative protein bands for M-CK visualized with reversible protein stain.
