Graphs show the effects of (A) 5-HT, (B) α-met-5-HT and (C) 5-CT on the integrated area of the cumulative depolarization applied in the absence (black bars) and the presence of a series of antagonists (as specified). Agonists and antagonists were applied at the following concentrations: 5-HT and α-met-5-HT, 10 μM; 5-CT, 100 nM; methiothepin, 1 μM; SDZ-21009, 100 nM; WAY 100135, 1 μM; Ketanserin, ritanserin, clozapine and RO 04-6790, 5 μM.
