Effect of combined activation of secretin, IP-prostanoid and A₂ adenosine receptors in NG108-15 cells. Cells were challenged with the indicated combinations of secretin (1 μM), iloprost (1 μM) and NECA (80 μM) for 15 min. Data are mean±s.e.mean (bars) from six separate experiments, each performed in quadruplicate. Cyclic AMP accumulation was expressed as fold-stimulation over basal. ^*P<0.05, indicates that co-addition of secretin and iloprost to cells results in a significantly greater cyclic AMP response compared with iloprost alone, paired t-test.
