Numbers of small and large arterioles in a 1 mm segment of choroid from saline (saline), phentolamine (phentolamine) and propanolol (propanolol) treated rats. Small arterioles in the 10 μm grouping have diameters between 10 – 19.9 μm and large arterioles in the 20 μm grouping have diameters of 20 μm or greater.
