Pretreatment with nafamostat mesilate and gabexate mesilate reverses the ioxaglate-induced pulmonary vascular hyperpermeability in rats. Nafamostat mesilate and gabexate mesilate were injected i.v. 5 min before intravenous injection of ioxaglate (4 g iodine kg⁻¹). Vascular permeability was assessed by the extravasation of Evans blue dye to lung tissues 10 min after ioxaglate injection. Each column represents the mean±s.e.mean.
