Eosinophils (10⁶ cells ml⁻¹) were cultured in the absence or presence of the different nucleotides (1 mM) for the indicated time. Viability was detected as described in the Methods section. Data are shown as percentage of viable eosinophils±s.e.m. obtained in five independent experiments. No significant difference between control and nucleotide-stimulated cells was detected.
