All experiments were performed in the presence of 10 μM indomethacin. Data are expressed as mean±s.e. mean. pEC50 and Emax values were obtained directly from individual log concentration – response curves. n represents the number of animals. The inhibitors were used at the following concentrations: L-NAME (300 μM), apamin (50 nM), charybdotoxin (50 nM) and iberiotoxin (50 nM).
