Inhibitory effects of Cpd 6A on T-lymphocyte proliferation. T cells (2 × 105 well−1) were treated with cyclosporin A (6.25 μM) or the indicated concentration of Cpd 6A with or without PHA (5 μg ml−1) at the same time (a). In the kinetic study, the cells were activated with or without PHA and then Cpd 6A (25 μM) was added at the indicated time (b). Cells were pulsed on day 3 for 16 h with 1 μCi well−1 tritiated thymidine. Proliferation assay was performed as described in Methods.
