Concentration-dependent inhibition of glutamate uptake mediated by the cloned human glutamate transporters EAAT1 – 3 expressed in MDCK cells. Glutamate uptake into cells expressing each of the transporter subtypes was examined in the absence and presence of increasing concentrations of WAY-855.
