Effects of vegetables and fruits on the rhodamine-123 accumulation by Caco-2 cells. The accumulation of rhodamine-123 was measured after incubating the Caco-2 cells at 37°C for 2 h with or without a 40% methanol extract of vegetables and fruits (2 mg ml−1).
